Spotlight on Steve – Part 2

In this unique 2-part episode of the show, Steve swaps his role as the interviewer for the show and becomes the interviewee as his buddy, Pat Fellows (Owner of Fresh Junkie & Host of Fresh Junkie Radio) sits down as the host and guides the conversation for this fun spin on the show.

Here in Part 2 we get to learn about the more recents successes and happenings in Steve's coaching career, starting with the work he did as the coach to first-time US Olympian and Gold medalist, Brooks Curry in his rise to stardom this past summer. Furthermore, Steve has made a big career decision recently to step away from swim coaching and pursue a career in coaching on a much wider scale.

In addition to discussing the value of goal-setting, a big part of the discussion in this episode is based around a concept Steve presents he calls “the minimum standard”. Steve & Pat discuss the notion that through implementing a minimum standard we establish the expectations we must embrace of ourselves in order to pursue our potential, our goals, and our optimal self.
